On the national theme “Veterans Helping Veterans and Their Families,” VIVA reaffirms its commitment to benefits navigation, disability claims support, and homelessness prevention for USVI-connected veterans

As the nation plan this year to observe Veterans Day 2026, the Virgin Islands Veterans Association (VIVA) joins communities across the country in honoring the service and sacrifice of every man and woman who has worn the uniform of the United States Armed Forces. This year’s national observance, coordinated by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Veterans Day National Committee, carries the theme “Veterans Helping Veterans and Their Families,” a message VIVA has built its mission around since its founding.
