The Virgin Islands Veterans Association (VIVA) is dedicated to honoring the service and sacrifice of our veterans while strengthening the communities they return to. We believe that those who have served our nation deserve recognition, support, and a thriving community that values their contributions. Through advocacy, fellowship, and meaningful engagement, VIVA creates pathways for veterans to connect with one another and with the broader community.

VIVA provides comprehensive support through resource referrals, memorial events, and year-round community service initiatives. Our programs are rooted in dignity and local pride, ensuring that every veteran feels valued and supported. Whether through connecting veterans with essential services, organizing commemorative events, or fostering fellowship among those who have served, VIVA stands as a beacon of support and community strength for the Virgin Islands veteran community.

ORGANIZATIONAL OVERVIEW

VIVA is a mission-driven veterans nonprofit established to support, connect, and advocate for veterans with ties to the U.S. Virgin Islands. VIVA strengthens the veteran community through outreach, resource connection, education, referrals, public engagement, and culturally grounded service. The organization serves as a bridge among veterans, families, government agencies, veteran service organizations, faith-based partners, housing providers, workforce partners, and public-sector stakeholders.

  •  Aging, disabled, low-income, and transitioning veterans
