The organization serves as a bridge among veterans, families, government agencies, veteran service organizations, faith-based partners, housing providers, workforce partners, and public-sector stakeholders.
Mission
Support all who have served, with special emphasis on Virgin Islands veterans, families, caregivers, and survivors, by promoting advocacy, outreach, education, resource connection, community service, accountability, and veteran-centered support.
Target Population
- • Veterans in the territory and mainland diaspora
- • Aging, disabled, low-income, and transitioning veterans
- • Women veterans, caregivers, spouses, dependents, and survivors
- • Homeless veterans and veterans at risk of homelessness
- • Veterans needing benefits navigation, workforce support, digital access, or community connection

Veteran Claims & Benefits Navigation – We help-Those That Have Served- Virgin Islands–connected veterans understand and secure the benefits they earned, including disability compensation, pensions, and survivor benefits. Every $250 gift underwrites a complete benefits review and claim development session for one veteran.
Donor support powers VIVA’s hands‑on work helping Virgin Islands–connected veterans and their families actually use the education benefits they have earned. Your gift underwrites one‑on‑one guidance, workshops, and follow‑up support so benefits turn into real degrees, certifications, and careers for our veterans and their families.
VIVA’s Small Business Monthly Luncheon gives sponsors a direct way to invest in veteran‑owned businesses while gaining visibility in the Virgin Islands community. Your support underwrites networking, education, and resource‑sharing that help veteran entrepreneurs grow sustainable companies and jobs, with sponsor recognition in event promotions and at the luncheon.
