7/18/2026-The Virgin Islands Veterans Association (VIVA), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is highlighting Government Coordination as one of its core organizational capabilities in service of veterans, families, caregivers, and survivors connected to the U.S. Virgin Islands, both in the territory and across the mainland diaspora. As the mission-driven bridge among veterans, government agencies, veteran service organizations, housing providers, and workforce partners, VIVA is positioned to coordinate directly with the offices and officials who shape veteran policy and services.
VIVA’s Government Coordination capability centers on working directly with veterans affairs offices, planning councils, agencies, elected officials, and stakeholders to advance benefits navigation, housing referral, workforce and digital readiness, and support for women veterans, caregivers, and survivors. This capability is reinforced by VIVA’s leadership strengths in veterans advocacy, public-sector coordination, and retired senior military leadership experience, and it connects to active partnership opportunities with the USVI Office of Veterans Affairs, state and local veterans departments, SSVF providers and Continuums of Care, and territorial, state, congressional, municipal, foundation, and corporate partners.
VIVA welcomes government agencies, elected officials, and community stakeholders to engage directly on coordination opportunities that strengthen outcomes for Virgin Islands veterans and their families. Organizations interested in partnering with VIVA on government coordination, benefits navigation, housing referral, or related initiatives can contact info@veteransvi.org, or visit https://veteransvi.org to learn more about VIVA’s full range of capabilities.
