Annual Conference

“The premier gathering for those who have served β€” and everyone who serves them”
The VIVA Annual Conference is the premier exposition representing Virgin Islands–connected veterans, bringing together industry leaders, government decision-makers, and the veteran community to share the latest advancements in veterans’ services. Across three impactful days, attendees will hear from leading speakers and government officials, connect with peers and partners, and help shape the future of support for veterans and their families. The event opens with a Small Business Welcome Networking Reception, moves into a full day of sessions and the signature black-tie dinner, and closes with a half day of final connections before travel home.

Overview & Purpose

Why We Gather
For two decades β€” and for generations before β€” Virgin Islands veterans have served with distinction, often navigating disability claims, benefits, and
reintegration far from centralized VA resources. The VIVA Annual Conference exists to close that gap: bringing the people who make policy, deliver services, and fund programs into the same room as the veterans and families those programs are meant to serve.

This is a must-attend event for anyone invested in the future of veterans and their families β€” whether you’re a veteran seeking resources, a government official shaping policy, a service provider looking to expand your reach, or a business ready to invest in the veteran community.

Who should attend:

  • Veterans and their families connected to the U.S. Virgin Islands
  • VA representatives, VSOs/VSRs, and benefits counselors
  • Federal, state, and territorial government officials
  • Nonprofit and community service organizations
  • Healthcare providers and mental health professionals
  • Businesses and sponsors invested in veteran services
